Record to Record Linking

On the Links tab of the Prolog Converge forms, you can link a record to one or more records. For example, you can link a transmittal record to an RFI, thus creating a link to the transmittal record from the RFI record and vice versa. Depending on your security access, you may be able to add, view, or delete record-to-record links.

To link a record to one or more records

  1. Open the record that you want to link to another record.
  2. On the Links tab, click Link.

    3. The Record Search window appears.

  3. Select a form type from the Form Type drop-down list.
  4. Optional: To narrow the search criteria, add additional filtering information such as the record's ID and title.
  5. To display a list of records that match the search criteria, click .
  6. In the Sel column, select the records that you wish to link, and then click .

    7. The linked record is now displayed on the Links tab.
